Anne Haigis (born 9 December 1955) is a German musician, singer and songwriter. Through the 1980s, she gained commercial success with rock songs, blues and ballads sung in German with her native Swabian accent. In the 1990s she incorporated English language material again, and recorded with Tony Carey and Eric Burdon. Her intense and passionate singing style has been praised as belonging to one of Germany's best contemporary voices, a "down to earth, charismatic, warm-hearted entertainer".

Eleanora Fagan (April 7, 1915 - July 17, 1959), known professionally as Billie Holiday, was an American jazz and swing music singer with a career spanning 26 years. Nicknamed "Lady Day" by her friend and music partner Lester Young, Holiday had an innovative influence on jazz music and pop singing. Her vocal style, strongly inspired by jazz instrumentalists, pioneered a new way of manipulating phrasing and tempo. She was known for her vocal delivery and improvisational skills.

Good morning blues is a Swedish, Uppsala - based, blues band that has been active since 1967. The basic trio in Uppsala with Jan Warngren, piano, Thomas Lindroth, bass and vocals, and Bjorn Sjodin, drums, was expanded in 1967 with Claes Janson on vocals and guitar. Good Morning Blues was the only song they could put together, hence the name. Thomas Arnesen, guitar and vocals, 1972, John Hogman, saxophones, 1974, Bosse Broberg, trumpet, 1987 and Hampus Adami, trombone, came in 2016. In 2004, Thomas Arnesen was replaced by Anders Johansson. Good morning blues is a frequent guest on Swedish jazz and blues scenes.
